  • Psycho-educational assessments can be difficult to comprehend. Allow me to simplify and interpret the report for you.

    This package includes 5.5 hours of service, including the 90 minute consultation of the results and recommendations.

    • Review, simplify, & interpret the results of the scoring, and recommendations of the psycho-educational assessment

    • Translate recommendations to practice in a classroom setting for your child’s learning profile

    • recognizing your child’s strengths, learning needs, & provide a plan of action

    • Review current IEP plan and create new goals, if needed

    • Strategies for home

  • A Level B assessment will measure your child’s ability to read, decode, write, spell, & calculate. The results of this assessment can guide Teachers to better understand your child’s learning profile and provide adaptations.

    Total: 4.5 hours of service

    I Offer 2 Types of Standardized Achievement Testing:

    1. Woodcock Johnson Test of Educational Achievement (approx. 2-3 hour assessment with your child)

    • Includes: testing, scoring, and providing a comprehensive report (1 hour)

    • Consult and review assessment results in a proactive manner

    • Provide a list of strategies and interventions (1.5 hours)

    2. Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement, 3rd Edition (Ktea-3) (approx. 2-3 hour assessment with your child)

    • Includes: testing, scoring, and providing a comprehensive report (1 hour)

    • Consult and review assessment results in a proactive manner

    • Provide a list of strategies and interventions (1.5 hours)

    • To discuss current learning needs/struggles & focus on strengths

    • Breakdown learning profile, provide adaptations- technology recommendations

    • Teach self-advocating skills

    • Provide resources for home

    • Set realistic goals & look at Big Picture

    • Discuss future goals and interests and ways to achieve it

  • Includes: 3.5 Hours of Service

    • ADHD screening with Level B assessment: Connors 4th Edition

    • There will be digital forms for your child, the Parent/Guardian, and a Teacher to complete.

    • The forms will be submitted to me for scoring and results.

    • Scoring, Participation, Results, Intervention options, and Recommendations

    • Understanding ADHD & getting to know its super power abilities

  • This program is geared for Junior Kindergarten-Grade 3 children. Using the principles of Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory structure, this program is suited for Early Literacy learners.

    This program will also benefit Beginner/ Struggling readers who wish to further develop their literacy skills.

    Tailored to suit your child’s needs, there will be 7 levels of literacy to be Mastered:

    First Steps:

    Level 1- Introduction to Early Literacy and the Alphabet

    Level 2- Introduction to Phonics/ Phoneme-Grapheme Associations

    Level 3-Multisensory Card Drills

    Level 4-Blending Phonograms

    Level 5- Simple Word Reading

    Level 6- Intro to Sight Words

    Level 7- Simple Sentence Reading

    This program requires a commitment of two 30 minute sessions per week and includes a weekly progress report. In addition, there will be practice take home sheets provided to your child to reinforce their learning.

    Please note: Mastery of all levels requires time and commitment.

    Young Learners will learn at their own pace and readiness, and that IS OKAY!

  • This is a 2.5 hour commitment per week. A minimum of 6 months is required.

    A number of Neuroscientists, named Dr. Michael Merzenich, Bill Jenkins, Paula Tallal, and Steven L Miller started the Scientific Learning Corporation in 1996. This company created Fast ForWord which is a theory that some children who have language and literacy learning difficulties may have problems rapidly processing sounds. Another theory investigated that cognitive training can improve auditory processing, and a final theory that this training will improve literacy skills.

    This is a widely used reading intervention and literacy intervention program. It is used throughout the School System worldwide by Educators, and in many school districts.

    Fast ForWord is an interactive reading program which improves phonemic awareness, decoding, reading fluency, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking for children in grades K-12. In addition, it aims to improves a child’s memory, attention, processing, and sequencing.

    This literacy program will require 2 sessions per week where there will be a combination of Fast ForWord reading intervention and 1:1 literacy skills development.

    In addition, I will provide your child special access to the Fast ForWord reading program to be practiced at home for 30 minutes per week.

    This program includes: 2 sessions of 1:1 reading intervention, including the Fast ForWord reading program, 30 minute access to the Fast ForWord reading program at home for your child to practice.

    A comprehensive weekly report will be provided on your child’s progress.
